hi gaurav
to read your mail off of the redhat-6.0 server...
you need to enable pop3d on rehat-6.0:/etc/inetd.conf
make sure you have in.pop3d in /usr/sbin
make sure pop3d is enabled in rehat-6.0:/etc/services
- restart inetd and you should be able to connect
by point your email client to the redhat-6.0 box
note...donno if there is a difference between pop-3 and pop3 but...
it works for me when I used pop3 ( no - sign )
make sure you don't have pop3d denied for yourself.. ( probably not )
in /etc/hosts.allow, /etc/hosts.deny ( usually empty from redhat )
have fun
