i'm trying to setup sub-netting over a ppp modem connection.
network 0 network 1
ppp
(internet)---[w.x.y.z]---[modem0]--//--[modem1]---[192.168.0.2]
.... ....
.... ....
When i try to do a traceroute from network1, i get:
Multiple interfaces found; using 192.168.0.2 @ eth0
Which is the wrong interface. That's the interface to network1,
i want it to use interface ppp0, which is the interface through the
modem to network0 and the internet. Any ideas why it uses the wrong
interface, and does it matter what ip's i use on network1. ie, does it
matter if i use 192.168.0.2 or 192.168.2.2 etc.
thanks
