Hi,

We have a small office with about 30 people working, and
connecting to the net using a single dialup link. We recently upgraded the
box to RedHat 6.1 (we also upgraded the hardware, and that forced the
upgrade to 6.1, that's a long story).
The trouble is now if I try to do ftp or fetchmail or connect to
some big http site, then the client downloads few hundred bytes to few KB
of data and just freezes. This happens with all clients - fetchmail,
netscape, squid, lynx.
I have a completely plain vanilla redhat 6.1 distro. Is there
anything I can do about it? Earlier we had RedHat 5.2 and it was working
fine.
The machine config is like this
Single processor P-III@500MHz, 128MB RAM, 13GB Ultra66 IDE disk and a 3com
ethernet card.
Running RedHat 6.1, pppd - 2.3.10, kernel - 2.2.12 (redhat's kernel
shipped with RH6.1)

Kindly help me. Thanx in advance.

        Regards,
        Kedar.
