Hello, I have some problem about PPP now my setting information are : - Red Hat 5.2 , kernel 2.0.36 - PPP is ppp-2.3.10.tar.gz My Problem: 1. I have kernel 2.0.36 when i install Red Hat 5.2 and after I DL PPP and './configure' then I 'make kernel' ,'make clean','make dep' and 'make zImage' when they completed I 'cd /usr/src/ppp-2.2.0f' and 'make' BUT it have ERROR make[1]: ***[lcp.0] Error 1 make[1]:Leaving directory '/usr/src/ppp-2.2.of/pppd' make: *** Call ] Error 2 Do you know how i solve this problem? 2. Where site i can receive ppp script ? now i copy from my friend but i think it isn't complete. 3. I confuse about where file script is between in '/etc/ppp' and '/uxr/sbin' What file should be in these path? 4. Sometime I can connect modem between Client and Server by PPP, Modem can work but I test by 'cat /proc/net/dev' IP address at ppp line show 0 all I can't solve problem 5. I want to connect between Linux and Linux by PPP (one is Server) Server : (Detail) Tel = 6121273 Account = oracle Password = oraons IP = 192.168.2.60 Netmark = 255.255.255.0 Client : (Detail) Tel = 2165734 Account = oracle Password = oradgc IP = 192.168.2.53 Netmark = 255.255.255.0 Please suggest that I should do.
