Not sure if this has been answered yet, just catching up with posts (if it 
has, sorry, ignore me).

Does your 'local node' connect to the internet and accept dialins? Is the 
problem actually routing machines dialled in to the box to access the 
internet (IE does the dialup part work) or is it with the actual dialup etc 
etc?

I have a big problem with my ppp that I can't solve. I have implemented
a local node with linux + RocketModems multiport card (RocketPort  8

mgetty . Now when I try to connect Clients
to the local node from their machines   it wasn't work !!
