Hi,
I'm using a linux box as a router with ppp connection with the demand
option and with a dynamic IP address.
Kernel 2.2.13, ppp version 2.3.7
The problem is that after the connection to the ISP, the firewall has
to set up (with a strong ruleset (TrinityOS)). This requires some time.
The result is a DNS timeout message.
If I send a new request from the Linux router or from a pc in the LAN
all works fine.
A simpler firewall ruleset has no problems.
Do you have any idea????
