I have a PPP server works well. But the questions is
that my phone line have a voice mailbox. People can
left their message to me if the phone haven't pick up
after 5 RING.
Now, people can not left the voice message, because
the Linux try to answer the call after the phone ring
twice. If I set the ring 6 times before the linux
answer the call then I never can dail into linux
because the voice mail bax take over the connection.
Can I have some application to identify the in come
call whether from a human or machine. Then if comeing
call is from human, Linux will offer the mailbax, if
coming call is machine it will offer a login.
If the solution above is too difficult to offer, Can I
have an application which call schedule the work of
the Linux. Just like this: Linux enable the modem 5
minutes then release it 5 minites, then enable it
again. When the connect is setup linux will stop this
switch until the connect is broken.
With this switch works. People can dial in again few
minites later if they find now the line is taken by
linux. People could login again few minites later as
they found that the Linux can not deal with their
login.
