I'm a big USR Courier (external) fan. I've had mine since its 16k8 baud
days, it's performed flawlessnessly until the night lightening nuked it.
Sent it back to USR for repair and they fixed it.

Because the firmware is flashable, I've upgraded it from 16k8 to 28k8, to
33k6 and V90 in the last five years I've had it. 

Brilliant piece of hardware. Highly recommended.
