I seems the problem was not so strange after all. M. Andy Rabagliati saw it in
1996!

I got mine working by changing my longon script. I recommand that you use
minicom to connect to your ISP before changing your script. You will see what
your ISP is sending you and you will be able to adapt the script accordingly.
