I finally configured my ppp0 interface, but I can�t dial out. The modem
is in /dev/modem, which is a link to /dev/ttyS3 (I fixed that, thank
you). I can acces it with minicom, it dials ok, but when I try using
kppp, it does not dial. The modem works fine under Windows.
The log is as follows
Mar 2 23:23:29 localhost pppd[1366]: pppd 2.3.8 started by root, uid 0
Mar 2 23:23:29 localhost pppd[1366]: Using interface ppp0
Mar 2 23:23:29 localhost pppd[1366]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyS3
Mar 2 23:23:42 localhost pppd[1366]: Serial line is looped back.
Mar 2 23:23:42 localhost pppd[1366]: Connection terminated.
Any sugestion?
