Strange.  I'm having the same problem using a similar setup.  But the problem
seems to only occur when the link is heavily loaded.  It'll sit there and idle
for hours on end, but if I start a big download or try streaming MP3's across
the link it'll start dropping packets.  If I reset the link, everything works
okay until the load gets high again.  I've yet to nail down the exact trigger,
nor have I figured out the cause.  Let me know if you stumble across the answer,
and I'll do the same.
