Hey there,

I've installed a pppd with the option on-demand. Everything is working when
i start.
When i wanna touch something on the net, pppd will make a connection to my
ISP.
I've setup de idle-time at 60 seconds. But when i'm doing nothing anymore
(even close all my browsers) the connection won't fall off after the 60
seconds.
I see (with ifconfig) that at regular base the ip-packets grow. (not much)
What can it be. ( I saw the filter parameter, but this is only for free-BSD.
So say the man-pages)
My OS = redhat 6.1 linux 2.2.5-15
PPPD = 2.3.9
Any suggestions ??

Thanks for listening.
Peter
