I have had problems with a RedHat 6.0 system where my Network will die
suddenly.
When this happens I can not access anything on the Internet and I am forced
to close the ppp session and
establish a new one. I just realized that this is only happening when I am
running an APACHE proxy server
(version 1.3.9). I can use the Web for some random time between minutes and
hours before this happens.
If I have APACHE server off, this never seems to happen.
Has anyone else seen this type of problem with APACHE? I am tempted to see
if there is a newer version of
APACHE but I an hesitant to go through the compile-install-configure cycle
unless I have some
reason to believe that this is going to fix the problem.
