HI all.
has anybody managed to get appletalk working through ppp?, We currrently have a
Linux box as a dial-up server, with a local interace to the LAN and two modems
for users to dial into, I am currently using IP and IPX on pppd (ver 2.3.8
patched, with kernel 2.2.9) as we have Novell, but our Mac users are wanting to
be able to see there mac shares etc, over the dialup using appletalk.
I have found patched for ppp-2.3.5 and atalkd 1.4b2, but have not had
much success, with it ( also if I could get appletalk working through pppd
2.3.5, I have found that IPX does not work through this version, and there is
no appletalk patch for ver pppd 2.3.8 that we currently use).
Any help on this or other ways on doing this would be greatly
appreciated.
