I currently have a 64k ISDN connection working between two Linux boxen, each
with an 3Com/USR Courier I-Modem. I have two questions:

1) Is it possible to use *both* channels (for a total of 128k) with these
modems in Linux? To allow the modems to use both channels, I have to put
the modem into PPP mode... I'm guessing this means the modem somehow does
all the PPP stuff, instead of pppd. Is this supported by Linux?

2) If it is possible... How? =)

I have 4 ISDN devices available... while I'd prefer to use the 3Com I-Modems
on each end of the link (for simplicity sake, mostly--and b/c I know that
individually, each one works fine), I also have a SpellCaster
DataCommute/Plus ISA ISDN card (I'm not sure if it works any longer), and a
3Com ISDN TA/Pro... if it somehow simplifies things to use something other
than an I-Modem on one (or both) ends of the link, these other two ISDN
devices may be available.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? :-)

Thanks!
