Hi All,
It's been a while since I've needed to post anything to the list, but this one has me
stumped (and there is no help from Microsoft's web site either).
I have 2 US Robotics (Courier V Everythin) Modems, one is connected to a
UNIX/linux PC, and the other to a Windows95 PC.
There is a 2 wire analogue leased line between them. We have established serial
communications between them (if pppd is started on the LINUX PC, and we watch
the serial port of the Win95 PC we see the PPP frames) but we can get Win95 to
establish a ppp connection.
How does one get Dial-up networking to NOT dial, but instead to just start a point-to-
point protocol connection?
Any help is much appreciated. (The modems are setup as per the leased-lini mini
howto)
Regards
Paul Sullivan
