Hi, anybody using MySQL on Software RAID? I've tried to compile MySQL 3.23.24 on a Linux 2.2.16+RAID0.90+readbalance-patch and I got Segmentation faults running mysqld. I found that MySQL's configure finds RAID code and enables RAID support and I could not disable it. Binary distribution of MySQL (without RAID support, I think) works fine... I wonder if RAID support in MySQL (I don't have large databases...) will make performance grow and how to compile it succesfully. Can anybody help me? Thanks.
