What distribution of Linux are you using? It sounds like RH, but which
version?
If I were going to follow your setup, I'd use fdisk to create a /boot
partition on all three drives, and mark all of them as type fd. Then you
can (w)rite changes, and use disk druid for the rest of the disk. You can
just select all of those drives, and the /boot mount-point, and a type of
Linux-RAID from the disk-druid screen. HTH,
