I don't have this on my Mandrake 7.2 boxes, and Mandrake forked from a
RedHat base back in RH6.2 days I believe - so I'm guessing this is a RH7.0
addition, and a good idea at that.
Mandrake does prompt you during installation to turn on "Hard Drive
Optimisations" but suggests you only do that if you know what you're doing
:(
