Raid 1 with kernel 2.4.3

I am currently running a software Raid 1 configuration with kernel 2.218 and
various patches such as ide, raid, and vm-global.

Does 2.4.3 have the latest code for raid 1, ide, and virtual memory? and is
it stable?
