This in fact was covered at Linux World in San Jos�, Ca a week ago. Ext2
will be a journaling filesystem very soon. The way I remeber it, it's
already there in the developer tree almost ready to launch. The guy in
charge of it is called Steven Taylor if my memory serves me right, and you
can reach him at: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> . I think he said it was ready to use
already, but I can be wrong there. There are so many new features on the
way for ext2, I can't remember them all now. I don't know what the
copyrights of his slides are, but maybe you should check the Linux World
web-site and see if his sessions slides are online.

For all of you who missed this session, I must say you really missed the
most interesting session of them all at Linux World, the title was: Linux
filesystems in the Enterprise, and Steven was brilliant.
