A linux driver would be a good start. I *used to be* a DPT reseller
until they made an issue about state sales tax. I'm in NJ. They are in FL.
End of story, right? They apparently have the position that they will collect
sales tax for all outside states unless I provide information they have no
business asking for. (even though I've been selling their products for
something like 5 years) It was even explained to me that every state
that has a sales tax audits them yearly, and they are required to do this
by federal law. (For lack of a better term: A crock of shit.)
So they are either:
A) Being government lackies instead of respecting their customers.
B) On some really good drugs.
Since then I have only been using Mylex 960's...
