Hello everyone,
Thanks for the responses about our CHS problems. We've decided
to get the drives mirrored before we go mucking around with the CHS
settings, but we can't get RAID to load up our new drive.
We did it before by using the command "mkraid -f --only-
superblock", but that command was outdated with version 0.90 of
raidtools. We tried "mkraid --upgrade /dev/md0" but all that does is
check /dev/hdb1's superblock. All the documentation we read points
to the command "ckraid", which is also outdated now.
Please, does anybody know how to add the device?
        Thanks,
        Chris

Here is our /etc/raidtab just in case it might help:
# sample raiddev configuration file

raiddev /dev/md0
    raid-level 1
    nr-raid-disks 2
    nr-spare-disks 0
    chunk-size 16

    device /dev/hdb1
    raid-disk 0
    device /dev/hdc1
    raid-disk 1
