I myself tried it on RAID1, patch raid0145-19981005-C-2.0.35 and tools
raidtools-19981005-B-0.90, on a Red Hat 5.1 box (a Compaq Proliant 6500R
without Compaq RAID controller, just a hot-swap SCSI tray).
