That seems to be right; I was told to update the drives by another one
here on the list.
We exchanged some drives and I think (because they are working fine now) they got the
new firmware.
I don't want to offend IBM disks; I use a DORS at home (old one) and it is pretty fast.
Nethertheless, thanks for the advice of upgrading firmware (I did not hear of it from
our vendor).
