WARNING - DOING THIS _WILL_ RUIN YOUR DATA!!
After having
1) created and synchronized the raid device
2) mounting and using the partitions "under" the raid device
you now have physically different data in parts of the mirror without the
raid drivers knowledge. Trying to access the raid device at this point will
produce garbage on reads since part of the data will be read from the up to
data (dev/sda)partition and part will be read from the outdated disk
(/dev/sdb).
You must get sdb kicked from the array and resynchronize using the data
from sda before accessing the raid device.
