You need 2 empty partitions. You need to make a /etc/raidtab and apply
"mkraid /dev/mdx" onto it. if you have a ext2 filesystem on them you need to
add -f ("mkraid -f /dev/mdx").

and look for the latest raidtools, there's documentation included.

I don't know for redhat 6.0 but on suse you only have to enter it in
rc.config, but that thing doesn't exist on redhat. - sorry, no help available.
