Hi, as far as i know, that raid controller is not still supported
by linux. Adaptec says:
"At this time, Adaptec does not distribute Linux drivers or driver source
code. Adaptec is working with the Linux community to develop drivers for
Adaptec products."
My question is, is someone working on it right now? when is it
going to be released (aprox)?
Btw, due to i'm in a hurry, i probably do a software raid...i read
some howtos about how to do it and it seems u can do a root raid and u can
do it bootable. Does someone really do it? am i going to have problems if
i do that? i have 4 barracudas ultra2, 9gb each one.
