lilo append limits

Hello again,

I answered one of my questions alone:

append= is limited to 48 characters

This means that you can append 2 ide drives but not 3... 

Does the ide patch enable the 4 ide interfaces on a BP6?

Just thought I'd ask before recompiling my kernel with it.
