Thanks to Darren Nickerson I have resolved almost all my other problems.

I finally found the kernel patches for RAID and for UDMA. I know that I
should have been able to find them sooner alone. But heavy workload =
less free brainpower for "secondary" tasks.

are at.

After reading up the docs and patching my 2.2.14 kernel I now have the
four UDMA66 interfaces showing on boot.

fdisk does not see the second UDMA66 interface on the Promise Fasttrack
card (yet...). The kernel sees it just fine (append="ide4=0xXXXX,0xXXXX"
did the trick). The first interface is seen at boot.

Thanks again guys. This is the most efficient list I have been on for
quite some time.
