I have an Adaptec AAA-133U2 Raid Controller card (which I was assured would
work with kernel 2.2 and above). I have done the DOS Raid setup program.
However, when installing the OS (Redhat Linux 6.2), it seems to see the disks as
4 separate SCSI disks. I thought the whole idea of hardware RAID was to have
all the RAID stuff controlled via hardware so that the OS just saw it as one
disk that I could then mount, etc.
What am I doing wrong?
Also, since this has probably been asked before, where are the archives for
this list? or a hardware-RAID FAQ?
