1 Gbit/sec is approximately equal to 120Mbytes/sec.  Ultra160 SCSI is faster
than that.

Fiber Channel, or SCSI over Fiber Channel?  Sun has an FC array that allows
you to have 500metres between the server and the array, at 100MegaBytes/sec
data transfer.  I don't know what they're going to do with FC, but it's been
outpaced for speed by SCSI.
