hello

       sir,

I want to implement RAID-1 on my pentium PC having linux
with Kernel 2.0.36 on it and I have downloaded the
raid-patch(raid0145-19990309-2.0.36 ) and
raidtools(raidtools-19990824-0.90.tar.gz) from
ftp://ftp.fi.kernel.org/pub/linux/daemons/raid/alpha.

Now, my problem is that I do not know how to patch the raid-patch and
configure it to include the RAID support and compile it and install it ,

I also read the 'The Software -RAID HOWTO' but unable to implement the
RAID-1 with two equal size hard-disk are there on my PC.

Can you please help me out how,can I proceed from scratch when I have a
raw PC with one hard disk having linux with kernel 2.0.36 on it and I want
to implement RAID-1 (mirroring) on it by installing a secong hard disk on
it.

Hoping for quick reply from you.

regards

arun shan
