I installed Mandrake on a scsi drive but cannot get LILO to boot properly. It
comes up "LI " and then I must reboot. Floppy boots work fine, and the drive is
accessible.
I had installed earlier to this same drive and at the end of the installation, it
asked if I wanted to use "linear mode (required by some scsi drives". At that time, I
said "yes" and was able to boot from the drive with no problem. This time, I said "no"
and cannot.
My question is where can I make a modification to the system so that it uses
"linear mode" without doing a total re-install?
