I installed redhat with an onboard adaptec. (aic7xxx)

I later added an NCR53c8xx pci board.

I hand modified the initrd (and gave it the order I wanted 
them probed in).  I can give you hints if you need...

This is painful and important...

I reinstalled redhat 6.0, and was quite unhappy it doesn't let me
select which scsi board is probed first...
