Scsihosts is a kernel boot time and module load time option introduced with devfs (lk 2.3.46). Scsihosts allows the host order to be re-arranged when multiple SCSI host adapters are in a machine. A further patch went into lk 2.4.0-test1-ac9 to make the scsihosts facility work. The main documentation for scsihosts is in: http://www.atnf.csiro.au/~rgooch/linux/docs/devfs.html and some additional release notes are in: http://www.torque.net/scsi/scsihosts.html Doug Gilbert - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-scsi" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
