Yep its the last on the cable but not the end of the cable.
so termination has to be at the end of the cable not just the last device on
the cable ? And why would this not effect the seagate.

okay, but why would the seagate work and the sony not?

we do it once a week now, on the seagate, we do not use the sony at the
moment.

Its one card. but according to the documenation has two buses connected to
the one chip.
