I see what problem you are having since SCP see's the colons as
separators for hosts. The only solution I can think of is to copy the
files to a separate folder and scp the entire folder recursively...

Hi, All
I'm configuraing FreeS/WAN on my two linux box.
I used FreeS/WAN 1.9a version. And under is my result and ipsec.conf, =
ipsec.secrets file.
What is PSK at FreeS/WAN?
Some reference writen like under.
192.168.0.1 192.168.100.1 : PSK "0x01a......."
But I deleted it because it is not appeard on my referece, =

What is PSK, I have no idea...

I recently had to repartition my HDD on my laptop. I did the
following,,,
tar'd the entire windows partition. stored it on the network
tar'd the linux partition, stored it on the network.
repartitioned and made the first partition a bootable windows partition(
Note, do not reinstall, just sys the partition),
then loaded linux on the second partition.
copied back the windows tar file and untar'd it to the first
partition.
Set lilo to multiboot
rebooted and enjoyed linux while having the windoze back (gotta have it
to make the folks at work happy);)
The linux tar file was jsut to save info I needed from home and other
folders... You can pick and choose what you need as that goes along ;)
I don't recommend gzipping the tar file unless you are confident in the
hard drives you are using. If you get a bad tar file you can recover.
A bad gzip is disaster....
