Install the make package.
Should be somethine like "rpm -i make-?.?."
Find it on your CD, don't know redhat myself, but you'll find it.

Note that this program will probably destroy your windows partition.

Hi,
I want to add the ISA 3COM EtherLinkIII 3C509B-TPO card to a RH 5.2
system but I can't find the correct driver to use. According to
RedHat-compatibilitylist it should be the 3c509-driver but using this in
conf.modules causes the error-msg 3c509.o can't be located. So which one
is the correct one?
Thank you,
Huub

Yes of course, if you have installed Linux, you can boot into Linux using a
boot disk. But this problem seems to be with Windows 98. Have you installed
Lilo? Anyways, try starting Windows 98 in safe mode. Does it work? Or else,
check the bootlog file after booting into that mode. Any clues?

Configuration:
PII 350 MHz
192 RAM
100MHz MB
30G hard drive
20G partition for Win98
10G partition for Linux
After installing Linux (RedHat 7.0), when I reboot my machine, I get this
repeating sequence happening: First, the Packard Bell splash comes up, then
the Win98 splash comes up, then a blank screen with some info from the
autoexec.bat file (like, doskey), then it goes back to Packard Bell splash
screen and the seqeunce repeats.
I can boot to linux using the boot floppy.
Anybody got any suggestions?
Thanks
Brian
