At this point in time there are NO SMP capable AMD chips. Early next
year (probably 1Q99) AMD will have available a K-7 chip capable of SMP.
It will follow the Intel specs closely, so it "should" be compatible
w/SMP Linux. I am working with AMD to test SMP Linux 2.0.x and 2.1.x on
a "soon to be available" K-7 capable MB.
