Take a serious look at the American Megatrends Inc, quad Xeon.
We are buying one in a system from Tekgraph.

It is good for at least 4 gigs (yes *GB*). The design seems
quite robust, and is being considered her for clustering use.
You will also find the drivers needed for their "Megaraid"
technology inside kernel 2.0.36.
The documentation that accompanies it is quite complete.I
was impressed to see a 200 + page manual documenting just
the *bios* :^)
