Hello!
My name is JAvier Loaiza, I have found that the linux server of my new job
is using just one of the two processors it has. I'm going to recompile the
linux kernel in order to use the complete power of the machine.
I would like to know what release of linux you can advice me to install. At the
moment it is running on a slackware distribution running on a 2.0.30
kernel. I don't know whicho one is better to use..if kernel 2.0.36, or
any kernel of 2.1.*. series.

I would like to know too which of the standard development tools are
recommended to compile again in order to make best use of the multiprocesor
capabilities
of the machine. It is a Hewlet-Packard NetServer LH Plus, with 2 pentium
75+ (166 Mhz), and 256 Mb Ram.

Thank you

Ciao.
