Sorry to post this here, I would post it to linux-kernel but I am not a regular reader, and I hate posting to lists I don't read.. Besides, I am pretty sure that someone here will know the answer. (Alan? :) I just upgraded my (dual P166) box to linux 2.2.1 (from 2.0.36) and I was very disappointed to find out that snmp support for aliased interfaces gone because of changes to /proc/net/route. Is there a kernel patch available to make 2.2 write the same info to /proc/net/route that 2.0.x did? I'd like to get mrtg working again for all of my aliased IP's.
