Ok Thank's.
But I still have solid hangs with 2.1.1xx series, In aproximately 2 weeks the
system hangs doing nothing strange. Also I can freeze the system with gs
-sDEVICE=ppraw with some_big_archive.ps.gz. I think that the freezes and this
problem are correlated. Moreover I think they are the same problem. The kernel
says nothing about this. Only a time gave a lot of numbers. I have submitted the
complete m essage to the list, but I think that this is a unsolved problem with
some PC because a lot of persons have reported similar freezes. A lot of them
are solved with the mtrr patch but not others. My bios have an option about
passive release and it's on (I have checked it with the vfix program.). It's a
bug in the kernel? I don't know. Maybe you can write to me something about this.

Another thing. One friend of mine has the same computer, the same CPU's,
memory, video card........And the system is working great. The only difference
is that i use debian and he uses RedHat with Kernel 2.0.35 so... In a few days
I'm going to change the motherboard to see if it's some difference. I will
report the changes.

        Thak's a lot.
