Sound: DMA (output) timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error?
Has anyone had this happen? I have this if I try playing modules or
MP3s, but I don't have any problems if I run Quake/Quake2. I've never
had this myself before using a 2.1.127, but I was running a 2.0.32
before that. My machine is a PPro SMP box, and the soundcard is an ESS
1868. I am using the PnP to set it to what I have configured in the
sound part of the kernel config. Is this driver, or kernel? Does
anyone know "why" it is doing this?
