Hello.

I installed Linux Slackware 3.6 on a dual 400MHz PII PC which uses new
SOYO dual PII motherboard SY-D6IBA. However my new kernel (2.0.35 with
SMP flag on) doesn't work correctly. The second CPU reports a very low
bogomips value while the first one reports normal value and the system
goes so slowly. I tried development kernel 2.1.129 but with the same
results.

I found in SMP-FAQ it is probably because of buggy BIOS. Does exist any
patch to correct this bug or I have to wait for my vendor's BIOS update?

Thanks,
