Speaking from experence, or the stats you've read?
FYI I have a true 90MHz bus, (90MHz memory with 45MHz PCI) IO wise I believe I
beat up pushed Dual PPro 233's... I'd like to just use PPro overdrive chips
but they are too damn expensive.

The new so called 100MHz bus slowes these things down, meaning in effect it's
only equivilent to maybe a true 83MHz bus. Of course I could hack the bus
speed on that mobo..hmm oh damn here I go again: http://www.psychosis.com/doa/

The best suggestion I've heard thus far is a dual celeron. Appartenly the new
300A+ has 128K cache on board on...something I just found out. 128K is light,
but nothing to laugh at, especially if used in a dual configuaration. The CPU's
are only $100 each, and are possiblity over clockable into the 400MHz range. Of
course I don't want to buy Intel, especially P2, since I am boycotting their
'patent' on slot 1.

To far away, and then you need to wait it out a few more months for the prices
to drop to sane levels. I'm definatly interested in this though...
