You can start the NFS server on redhat by doing:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs start

You can set it to start at boot time by running the "ntsysv" program and
making sure the "nfs" services has an asterisk next to it.  (easy
method)

Once you've done that, then type:

showmount -e

to see the export list.  

Hope this helps.  And to stay on topic, does anyone know of any problems
with SMP and the NFS services?  Is 2.0.36 stable as far as NFS + SMP, or
would I need to use the 2.1.131+ kernels?
