Jason,
I've got a buddy up in Canada who's into all that and he runs the seti
stuff on both a win95 box and a linux box with nearly identical hardware
platforms (according to him) and he tells me the Linux box is about 10
times faster, and that's just a single processor. I'm buying a dual proc
box this week and I'll be able to give you some feedback about the dual
proc speed when I get everything set up.
