We haven't tried it yet, but we're buying 5 this month and are counting on
it that they all work with Linux. The only obstacle I've seen may be the
UDMA66 IDE interface suport on the board, which might be supported only at
the regular UDMA33 speed for the BX chipset (which is the chipset on the
board). I've had and seen machines with the Gigabyte 6BXD and with the
PCChips 750i dual boards running linux (all with celeron/ppga processors
on slotkets), and really expect Linux to work on those Abit BP6 boards.
However: Intel has announced they're leaving out the bond on the pin that
allows dual usage on the celerons, so be quick, pretty soon they may not
be any dual-capable celerons out there anymore (what will happen with the
Abit BP6 then? Take a guess).
